What are Adobe Acrobat (PDF) Files?
PDF (portable document format) files maintain the look and layout of original documents (on screen and in print), regardless of computer platform, browser or printer. For this reason, PDF files are best
suited for universal presentation of documents
In order to view the PDF files on In the Know, Inc's web site, Adobe® Acrobat® Reader version 5.0 is required. See below for information on obtaining the Acrobat Reader (it's FREE!).
Obtaining the Acrobat Reader (PDF viewer) You may already have a copy of Acrobat Reader 5.0 on your computer. Left click on test.pdf (only 7 kb). If you do have Acrobat Reader 5, and if Reader is recognized as a plug-in by your browser, Acrobat Reader should launch and test.pdf should be displayed.
If you don't have Acrobat Reader 5.0, you can download it free of charge from the Adobe web site.
To download Acrobat Reader from Adobe's web site, click on the "Get Acrobat Reader" icon below and follow Adobe's instructions.

Downloading, Viewing & Printing PDF Files Once you have installed Acrobat Reader on your system, it should automatically
integrate with your browser as a plug-in (unless you have a browser prior to Netscape 2.0 or Internet Explorer 3.0). Clicking on the desired PDF file should
launch Acrobat Reader and open the PDF file in the Reader. You may then view and print the pdf file.
Alternatively, you may wish to download the PDF file to your hard drive (or floppy), launch Acrobat Reader, and open the PDF file from within Acrobat Reader
. Download the file by clicking your right mouse button and selecting "save link as" (Netscape) or "save target as" (Internet Explorer) from the resulting menu.
